I’m a storyteller, entrepreneur, and lifelong creator based in Cleveland, Ohio. My journey as a writer is fueled by a deep fascination with the complexities of the human experience—from the quiet, introspective moments of contemporary fiction to the wonder-filled pages of children’s literature.

The Heart of the Story

Whether I’m exploring the psychological depths of a character in “The Unraveling of Eleanor Vance” or crafting the twenty chapters of growth and perspective in “The Upward View,” my goal is always the same: to find the light in the shadows. My published works, including “The Static and the Song” and “A Treasury of Light,” reflect my love for lyrical prose and meaningful narratives.

Beyond the Page

When I’m not at my desk weaving new worlds, you can usually find me:

• Creating: As the founder of Denise’s Crafts, I’m a firm believer in the power of handmade art. Whether it’s Tunisian crochet, intricate kniprojectstting, or experimenting with new paint markers, I’m always working on a project.
• Learning: I am currently finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Business with plans to transition into the Master of Health Care Management program this fall. I love blending the structure of business strategy with the fluidity of health.
• Exploring: From the thrill of Cedar Point to the quiet shores of Port Clinton, I find inspiration in the vibrant energy of Ohio and the simple joy of a well-cooked meal (usually made in my trusty air fryer).
